So very sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Bert. Loved his sense of humor and his laugh. Will always have fond memories of him, his brothers, and a bunch of kids playing baseball in the driveway in front of Grandma and Grandpa’s farm house. Whenever there were enough of us to get a couple of teams together, we were out there. Now all the brothers are gone. My condolences to your entire family. Whenever I think of Uncle Bert, it brings a smile to my face. That will never change.
We are so sorry for your loss. We will always remember your dad with fondness. God’s Blessings to you all.
Sorry to hear the lost of a dear love one. Uncle Bert stories of all his heart surgery amazes me since, having heart surgery myself. He had endurance and courage. Will miss his stories and yodeling. He has gone home to be with the Lord and where he has no bad heart problems. “Peace in heaven and glory in the Highest!” Luke 19:38
Oh some many good memories. When I was little. Sunday’s at grandma’s and listen to my uncle’s cheering for the Twins. Sitting in there cars listening to the radio. You just HAD to be a Twins fan! And the yodeling. Everybody loved when he yodeled, especially Savannah. He will be missed, but not forgotten. He is in God’s hands now. Yodeling in heaven. It makes you smile!
Oh so many good memory. Grandma’s on Sunday playing outside and listening to my uncles cheering for the Twins. You just HAD to be a Twins fan. And Uncle Bert always stood up for me, so he always had a special place in my heart! The yodeling! EVERYBODY loved the yodeling, especially Savannah. He will be missed but not forgotten. Now he’s with God and yodeling in heaven.

Bob: My condolences to your family. I will always remember and love both Bert and Leona. I enjoyed working with them at the store. They were my neighbors during a very difficult time. It was always so much fun to knock on their door to attempt to get a date with Leona… as Bert was sitting there. Fond memories! May you rest in peace, Bert. God love you (and Leona) my friends.
Condolences to all you DeMaris’s I used to know in Babbitt. Brian McKenna, Nevis, Mn.
