Bertila Bertha Barthel (nee Kasper) age 87 of Albertville, MN passed away on July 29, 2013 at New River Medical Center, Monticello, MN. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:30 AM at Church of St. Albert, Albertville, MN. Visitation from 4-8 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at The Peterson Chapel, St. Michael, MN & one hour prior to Mass on Friday at the church. Interment St. Albert Cemetery, Albertville, MN.
Preceded in death by her husband, Alfred G. Barthel & daughter, Paulette Marketon. Survived by son-in-law, Don Marketon; children, Paul (Carol), Leon (MaryLee), Barb (Norton) Nelson, Judy (John) Stewart, Joe (Diane), Jim (Carrie), Mary (Stan) Nordin; 23 grandchildren & 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Norita DesMarais, Bernie Larson & Agnes Marketon & many nieces & nephews.
