My sincerest condolences & prayers go out to Bert’s wife & family in this time of sorrow. Bert was the ray of sunshine at Culver’s when he worked there & the Knitten Kittens all loved seeing & talking to him. He is at peace now in Jesus’ arms.

    Evelyn and family,
My sympathy to you on the passing of Bert. He was known and loved by the entire community. This is especially meaningful to me since I was your ring bearer at your wedding about 65 years ago.

    Love,

Words can’t even describe how much I will miss you Uncle Bert and our bantering. I love you and Aunt Evelyn dearly and will treasure my memories of you forever. Your kindness and giving spirit and caring for others is what I hope can be said about me-you and Evelyn touched the lives of so many. I picture dad showing you around heaven in your new bodies with no more suffering or pain and I’m so glad we will be together for eternity. You were very precious to me and so many. I love you!

This is a post note for anyone interested. When I started Knitten Kittens and going to Culver’s, Good ol’ Bert is the one that started calling us the Knitten Kittens so we took that name as the name of our group & it will stay that way as long as we are a ministry. Thank you Bert and may you REST IN PEACE NOW.
    LOVE THE KNITTEN KITTENS
