April 7, 1937 – December 17, 2022

Barbara Fehn, age 85 of St. Michael.

Barbara Robeck was born on April 7th, 1937 and passed away on December 17, 2022.

Barbara was a life-long member of the Catholic Church and a regular of bible study.  Having grandchildren and then great grandchildren brought her so much joy, she enjoyed spending time with all of them.  She had a special place in her heart for her family.  Barbara loved being married to Kenneth and living on the farm where she was born.  Barbara and Kenny enjoyed spending time at their cabin on Big Birch Lake, catching fish and frying them up for dinner.  One of her favorite pastimes was to quilt, she gifted so many quilts to her family over the years.  Playing cards with her family and friends was a regular occurrence throughout her life.  She will be missed dearly by so many but we have peace knowing she is reunited with the loved ones that have gone before her.

Barbara was preceeded in death by her parents Mathias and Adeline (Schumacher) Robeck, husband of 63 years Kenneth Fehn (2020), sons Paul Fehn (2020), Mark Fehn (2021) and Tony Fehn (2021).  Barbara is survived by her daughters Theresa (Brian) Amy, Margie (Howard) Beaudry, daughter in law Janelle Fehn.  17 grandchildren, 9 (soon to be 10) great grandchildren

I have many memories of your beautiful mother. ( My Aunt) I loved to visit as a child and spend nights on the farm. Things that come to mind from those days were her garden, her chickens, all her cooking (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and also all of her baking -so many loaves of bread!, cakes and bars. She never had a moment to spare. She worked so hard– always.
She was very special. I will remember her always. My love and sympathy goes out to all of her extended family. She will be sorely missed.

There are a few people in life that you come across that are very special. Barbara Fehn was very special to me. She was not only my mother-in-law. She was a good listener counselor giver sharing. put others before herself persistent knew what she wanted. Unselfish a good example of a loving wife and I got the best part of her in Margie who has a lot of the same characteristics some good some bad, but I love them all. I will miss you, Barb, but see you soon. Love, Howard.
