Avelynn Jeanette Karpe, sweet, kind, fun loving, with a smile so bright you needed sunglasses.

Avey, as most people knew her, was excited for each and every day and what it could bring. She was equally excited to see a friend as she was to see her animals. Animals like Lady, Crunchy, Hopperscotch, Daphne, Dallas, and Heartbeat. Each animal gave her joy and excitement that was contagious. In fact, when this little girl had something to show you, she would grab you by the hand and lead you (drag you) to what she wanted to show you. She was an adventurer, whether it was riding a horse, riding a cow, going hunting with her Mom and Dad, or having a pet fox, this girl was up for it all. Avey was a protector, always making sure her favorite people (her sisters) were taken care of. Avey was a kind soul, always looking out for others and making sure everyone was involved in something or had a friend to play with. Her joy was abundant and her laughter spread like the wildflowers she always made sure to point out. Avey was able to accomplish, experience, and share many beauties of this life on Earth but now God has taken her hand and is leading her to the many beauties of Heaven.

Avelynn is joined in heaven with her cousins, Harrison and Amari.

She is survived by her parents, Andrea and Mark; sisters, Addy and Elsie; grandparents, Dave and Lisa Torma, Pete and Jane Karpe; aunts and uncles, Kari and Sarah Torma, Matthew and Vanessa Karpe, Mike and Kelly Karpe, Becky and Matt Polis, Jackie and Blake Berg; cousins, Jordan, Mischa, Nova, Whittaker, Samuel, Delilah, Naomi, McKenna.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 beginning at 3:00 PM at the Braham Event Center in Braham, MN.

Serving the family is The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. 763-497-5362. www.thepetersonchapel.com

We are so thankful for all of the prayer, words of support, and the generosity of everyone during this incredibly difficult journey. Our gratitude cannot properly be expressed through words, but please know that you have touched our hearts and we are so appreciative of all of your support.

    Mark and Andrea,
Mark, this is Carol Curtis, your teacher at SFCS. I just wanted to let you know that I am still praying for you and will do so until God tells me to stop. I am so sorry for your loss, but we have such a great hope in Christ that we don’t even comprehend. But we are able to trust God that we will be reunited with those loved ones that have preceded us to Heaven. Carol Curtis
