Austin James Bermel, age 5 months, was born on November 3, 2012 at St. John’s Hospital in Woodbury, MN and passed away on April 11, 2013 at Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, California.

Austin had a smile that lit up every room and brought joy to everyone who was in his presence. He loved music and received great pleasure from listening to his father play guitar for him every day. His father will continue to play guitar for him, as we know that he is still listening from above. Austin was loved and adored, will be missed greatly, and will never be forgotten.

Survived by his loving parents: Steven and Anna Bermel; maternal Grandparents: Gary and Linda Nelson and paternal grandparents: Jim and Karen Bermel as well as many other close family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 4-8pm Friday, April 19th at The Peterson Chapel-St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home in St. Michael, MN. – Further visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20th, 2013 one hour prior to services at the church.

Funeral services for Austin “A.J.” Bermel will be held on Saturday, April 20th,2013 at 2:00 P.M. at St. James Lutheran Church in Crystal,MN reception to follow.

Interment St. Jeanne de Chantel Cemetery in Corcoran.
