May 22, 1947 – April 15, 2021

Audrey Ann Hoglund, 73, of Monticello, MN passed away on  April 15, 2021 after a recent diagnosis of cancer. Audrey was born on May 22, 1947 in Monticello, MN to Arleen Ann (Dahlheimer) and Stuart Gordon Hoglund. She was the first child of seven, she grew up and graduated from Monticello High School.

She started her business career in bookkeeping at an early age for the family school bus business. Upon graduation, Audrey moved to Minneapolis to attend Business College. Working in the accounting field for a Minneapolis corporation, Audrey raised her 2 children with dedication and courage, surrounded always with family and friends in her hometown. She continued her work in accounting along with several entrepreneurial business ventures.

Audrey was a loving and dedicated Mother. Her daughter, Angie Ann (Jeff) Weeks, is grateful for every single moment shared with her. She invested her time, love, energy and joy into her loved ones. She always had wisdom, love, and HUMOR to help us through our days.

She was a proud Grandmother to Isabella (Luke) Fields, Dexter, Simon, & Bentley Weeks, Emmersyn and Eastyn Fiorentino, and a great-grandma to Jaxon and Nixon Fields. Audrey was a beloved “adopted” mom to Susie, Brita, Ruben & Helen and their boys Paul and Raphael. Gary Stanley was a dear friend, who held a very special place in her heart.

Audrey was certainly loved for her outgoing, fun loving, sparkly and colorful personality. She had a strong Faith and knew her Father in Heaven on a personal level. She understood she was the Beloved Daughter of Christ the King. Audrey was a friend to many ministries and had a heart for recovery. She served Jesus by volunteering in jail and prison ministry along with participating in Celebrate Recovery, where she developed many friendships.

Audrey is survived by her siblings, Wayne, Gordon, Iris, Zona and Jill; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. Every single one of them was a treasure to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arleen and Stuart Hoglund; brother, Mark Hoglund; and husband, John Klammer.

Audrey’s life will be celebrated on a future date, to be determined.

My deepest sympathy to the Hoglund family and to all who loved and will miss her. Her loving, big passionate heart, smile and laugh will be long remembered. Audrey and I were friends since our school days together, (Class of 65), Girl Scout days, etc.She and her family were always so hospitable, even letting me help clean the buses(back when)after school! My farewell party when I moved from Monti was given by Audrey and in recent years we shared a f.b.friendship. Her kind heart and passion for family and life will be missed and remembered. Rest in Peace, Audrey.
