Arvin Clarence Schultz, age 89, of Montrose passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Park View Care Center.
He was born on May 24, 1928 in Buffalo the son of Clarence and Clara Melinda (Hagstrom) Schultz.
Survived by a sister-in-law: Rosemary Schultz of Montrose; five nephews and nieces: Randy (Karen) Pouliot of Otsego, Lori (Michael) Pulvermacher of Buffalo, Lyne (Tony) Daniels of Buffalo, lana (Gary) Fabel of Montrose and Lee (Nicole) Schultz of Howard Lake; many great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by by his parents, a brother Howard and by a twin sister Ardis Schultz and by a special uncle Oscar Schultz.
Funeral services for Arvin Schultz will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Pastor Luke Schmidt will officiate.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
I got to know Arvin later in his life while living in Park Terrace. He was a good friend to my Mother Birdie, who was also a resident. Arvin would visit my Mother just about every day. They would visit and watch TV together. When I visited my Mother, Arvin would knock on the door and come in and sit with us. He and I would chat and talk about the farm and how he missed being there. Arvin may have been a little rough around the edges but if you got to know him you realized what a big heart he had for his friends and family. I will miss him. My sympathy to the family.
Sorry to hear of Arvin’s passing. He was quite a guy, very fun. Had his own way of doing things, of course. God’s peace.
