Arthur J. Rigenhagen, age 81, of Maple Lake passed away on Friday, December 21st, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

He was born on August 11, 1931 in Washington, Iowa the son of Arthur & Appy Scearcy Rigenhagen Sr.

Art enjoyed playing guitar, singing and visiting with people.

He owned and operated for many years a piano tuning business and also worked in real estate.

Art was a faithful member of The Annandale Evangelical Free Church and often led Sunday afternoon worship services at Park View Care Center.

His motto was “smile God loves you. He really does!”

Survived by his wife: Marcella M. Rigenhagen; children: Gary Rigenhagen,
Karen (Russ) Hansen of Arizona, Debbie (Terry) Hinckley of Idaho; Brenda (Jim) Harris of Washington, Marsha (Bob) Boers of Arizona, Sandy Carlson of Sherburn, Minnesota, Connie (Rod) Hinz of Granada, Minnesota, and Valerie (Randy) Stafford of Wells, Minnesota; seventeen grandchildren; brothers: Richard (Carol) Rigenhagen and Harold (Evelyn) Rigenhagen all of Idaho; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Appy Mae, an infant brother: David, a son: David and by his father-in-law & mother-in-law: Robert & Gladys Rigenhagen.

Funeral services for Arthur Rigenhagen will be held on Friday, December 28th at 11:00 A.M. at The Annandale Evangelical Free Church. Pastor Denny Johnson will officiate.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27th at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo from 4-8 P.M. Further visitation will be held at the church on Friday, December 28th one hour prior to services.

Casket Bearers will be Brad Anderson, Jessica Anderson, Nick Eicholz, Charity Winch, Joshua Hinz and Jeff Pribyl
