Visitation Information

Arnold John Lehn, age 85, of Dayton passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011.

He was born on September 18, 1925 in Dayton Township the son of Jerome & Anna Zachman Lehn.

On April 26, 1947, Arnold J. Lehn & Marion E. Neumann were joined in holy marriage at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Medicine Lake. God blessed their marriage with six children.

Arnold & Marion engaged in dairy farming for many years. Arnold loved farming!

He also enjoyed playing 500 and 500 Rummy.

Arnold was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Dayton.

Survived by his loving wife of almost sixty four years: Marion E. Lehn of Dayton; children: Richard (Ruth) Lehn of Loretto, Michael (Janet) Lehn of Coon Rapids, Judy Thiele of Rogers, David (Sue) Lehn of Ramsey, Allen (Chris) Lehn of Dayton and Carol (Larry) Addison of Cambridge; fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law: Eileen Potzmann of California, Terry (Jack) O’Brien of California, twin sisters: Donna Rose Fehring of Centerville and Donna Mae Bryant of Brooklyn Park, Gloria (Edward) Joa of Woodbury and Audry
(Don) Knutsen of St. Paul; a brother-in-law: Raymond (Bernie) Neumann of Buffalo; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents: Jerome & Anna Lehn and two sisters: Mary Lou Neumann and Dolores Carrier and by three brothers-in-law: Steve Potzmann, Elmer Fehring and Maynard Carrier.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Arnold Lehn will be held on Thursday, April 28th at 11:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dayton. Eulogy by Julie Gisch.

Interment St. Vincent dePaul Cemetery in Osseo.

Gift Bearers will be Cindy, Chase and Max Heitland.

Readers will be MacKenzie Lehn and Jeremy John.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at the church from 4-8 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Thursday morning, April 28th one hour prior to Mass.

Casket Bearers will be Chuck Lehn, Kevin Lehn, Brian Lehn, Andy Thiele, Shannon Lehn and Kristen John.
