Anne L. Douglas, age 93, of Buffalo passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009 at Park View Care Center in Buffalo.

She was born on July 4, 1915 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Peter & Mary Darilka Jonosko.

Anne was a graduate of The University of Minnesota Class of 1938. She was a longtime English teacher, having taught in Lonsdale, Montrose and Delano.

Survived by children: Nancy Rodgers of USVI St. Croix, Roberta Douglas Gale of St. Louis Park, Bruce R. (Barb) Douglas of Buffalo, Scott (LuAnne) Douglas of Lakeville & Lowell Douglas of Buffalo; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, David S. Douglas; sons-in-law, Leo Rodgers & John Gale; her parents and seven brothers & sisters.

A Memorial Service for Anne Douglas was held at 8 PM Monday, May 18th at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Pastor Matt Sipe officiated. Private interment Kreidler Cemetery.

A time of gathering for friends & family was held at the funeral home on Monday, May 18th from 7 until 8 PM.
