    Dear Duerr Famiy,
You have our deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. She died exactly one year later than my mom, on the 23rd. It doesn’t matter how old our mom’s are, we still miss them forever. We are in Arizona celebrating Tracy and Ben’s birthdays, and won’t be home until Thursday. We are sorry we can’t be there for your mom and your family. You have our deepest sympathy.

Timmy: My condolences upon the loss of your mother. My mother passed in the past year at the age of 91 and I’ve learned that no matter how many years you’ve shared, it’s always too early for them to go. I write on the day of my retirement and look forward to spending some time with those, like yourself, who remain very much a part of my favorite memories. I hope we can meet for lunch or cocktails or something to get re-acquainted. I’m at mkwatty@gmail.com or 763-588-0510. With sympathy, Mike Walz (class of ’76)
