March 11, 1939 – October 15, 2022

Ann R. (Herbst) May, age 83, of Rogers passed away peacefully October 15, 2022. Originally  from Waverly, MN. Preceded in death by parents Jules and Duly Herbst, husband Gerald May, sister Mary (Herbst) Johnson and brother Daniel Herbst. Survived by her three loving children: Karen (Buzz Plante), Craig (Gabi), and Keith (Julie); six grandchildren: Cole (LaKesha), Max (Sadie), Sophie (Marty Klein), Alex, Brittney (Cade), and Brandon
(Katie); two great grandchildren: Everly May and Elaina Klein; beloved cousin Terry Fitzpatrick and many more relatives and friends.
She embodied the true meaning of a vivacious woman. Energetic, spirited and beautiful.  Carried a lipstick smile through life that lit up any room, or a patient’s face as she spent many years as an amazing Registered Nurse at North Memorial Health. Enjoyed a good glass of wine and a crazy joke. Her wit and sarcasm, while loving her family, friends, blessed church community, fishing, traveling, shopping, reading and cooking, will certainly be missed. Ann’s zest for life is a true recipe that will be passed down to all of the families and friends that love her.

Ann brought so much love and laughter to our group of ladies in our church. I am honored to have called her my friend.

Our fondest memories of Ann were of our neighborhood Christmas party . We had good intentions of buying a piano so Ann could play and sing Christmas Carols but the piano fell out of the truck on Bass lake road. Now all we had were the piano keys. As always Ann made the best of it having many laughs about it through the years.
