Visitation Information

Ann C. Naaktgeboren, age 91, and formerly of New Hope passed away on Friday, December 18th, 2009 at Emerald Crest in Victoria.

She was born on October 29, 1918 in Silver Creek Township, Wright County the daughter of Hero and Nancy Vollink Balster.

On May 30, 1946, Ann C. Balster and Harold W. Naaktgeboren were joined in holy marriage at The Silver Creek Reformed Church. Harold preceded his wife in death on March 5, 1995.

She was formerly employed for many years at Minneapolis Retail Credit.

Survived by nieces, nephews many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Ann was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers: John, Herman, Jake, Henry and Louis Balster and by a sister: “Tina” Schermer.

Funeral services for Ann C. Naaktgeboren were held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 22nd at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Pastor Tim Overweg officiated.

Special music was provided by Lisa Roers.

Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery in rural Maple Lake.

A visitation was held on Monday, December 21st at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo from 5-7 P.M.

Casket Bearers were Fred Naaktgeboren, Harold Vandorp, Craig Vandergon, Peter Schermer, Bill Balster and Jeremy Balster.
