Amy Jo (Paulus) Jackson, age 56 of St. Michael, Minnesota, passed away December 3, 2022.

She was born on September 13, 1966 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to David and Judith (Knight) Paulus. Amy grew up in Crystal, Minnesota and attended Robbinsdale-Armstrong High School, where she graduated with the class of 1985. In 1990, she moved to St. Michael, Minnesota where she raised her family.

The best was yet to come when she became a mother to her beloved twin daughters, Michelle and Megan. Her love for her family was unconditional. Her generous heart and voice of reason allowed her daughters and other relatives to come to her for honest advice, words of encouragement, and loving support. She was never one to judge; she’d patiently listen and come up with the perfect outlook. There was always a silver lining according to Amy. She was a guiding light and source of inspiration to so many. She gave so much love not only to her family, but to complete strangers as well. She’d often donate to charities; she gave from her heart and soul.

Amy was an avid reader and lover of all Hallmark movies. She was an old soul that appreciated the classic television shows like I Love Lucy and The Golden Girls. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.

She was preceded in death by her father, David; and nephew, Shane.

Amy is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Byron) Gerads and Megan (Tyler) Larson; mother, Judy Paulus (Mike Reberk); siblings, Kathy (Tim) Jopp, Greg (Katie) Paulus, Kelly (John) Lang, and Beth Paulus (Lamar Wooten); nieces and nephews, Jeana (Trenton) Perron, Jamie (Nick) Porter, Jennifer (Shay) Carlson, Michael (Erika) Paulus, John (Erica) Paulus, Thomas Paulus, Matt (Libby) Lang, Nick Lang, and Kendra Wooten; many great-nieces and nephews; and fur babies.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at 3:00 PM with visitation one hour prior at The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be directed to her daughters, Michelle Gerads or Megan Larson.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville. Online condolences for the family may be directed to www.thepetersonchapel.com
