Our sweet Amaya Grace Cortes, was born an angel on October 28, 2018.
Amaya is deeply loved by her parents, Tanya and Luis; siblings, Christian, Brennan, Mariel, Lucas; maternal grandmother, Teresa Drinkwine; paternal grandparents, Jose Luis Cortes Talavera, Alejandra Canalizo Gutierrez; aunts and uncles, Carrie Drinkwine (Azlan McCleod), Joseph Drinkwine (Jessa), Brianna Drinkwine, Arianna Drinkwine, Saira Cortes, Adan Cortes, Evelin Cortes, Alexis Cortes; and many other loving family members.
Waiting to greet Amaya in heaven is her grandfather, Michael Drinkwine; great-grandparents, Barbara and Lester Loges, Virginia Drinkwine, Silvestre Cortes Hernandez and Luz del Carmen Talavera Lopez, Manuel Canalizo Morales and Guadalupe Gutierrez Jimenez; and great-aunt, Pamela Cotter.
Amaya was loved, held, hugged & kissed an infinite number of times. While we would give anything to hold her again, we understand God has called His Angel home. While her footprints never touched the ground, they are forever imprinted on our lives. We ask that you celebrate the impact and love we will forever have for Amaya and the place she will forever hold in the hearts of those who love her.
A celebration of Amaya’s life will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 1:30 PM, at The Peterson Chapel, 300 Main St N, St. Michael, MN.
A luncheon will be served immediately following the service at the home of Luis & Tanya. Address will be available immediately following the service.
