Almeda Frederick, Age 102, of Howard Lake, Minnesota, passed away peacefully September 30th at the “Howard Lake
Good Samaritan Center”. She was one of twelve children born to Christian and Katherine (Johnson) Rasmussen, receiving
her education in the Blooming Prarie and Clarissa school districts. She was united in marriage to Romane Joseph Frederick
April 16th, 1932 and was later baptized on January 5th, 1936. To this union there was born two children – Yvonne (Frederick)
Sundberg of Buffalo and Duane Ronald Frederick, deceased. To her family and those around her, she always appeared active,
whether it be playing games, walking or just enjoying some of her favorite T.V. shows. During her working years, you could see
her as a banquet waitress at the Curtis or Leamington Hotels where she took pride in her working with the public’. In addition to her
daughter Yvonne, she is also survived by three grandchildren-Chantelle Sundberg of Buffalo, Faye (Daniel) Eckland California, and
Charles Joseph Frederick of Delano, Minnesota and one great grandchild – Jory Sundberg of Buffalo, Services have been set for 2 P.M. Wednesday from the Peterson Funeral Chapel Buffalo, Minnesota with burial in Crystal Lake, Minnesota. Public viewing and visitation
will take place one hour prior to the service.
