Alberta Clara “Bertie” Martinson, age 95, of Buffalo, Minnesota passed away on Tuesday, August 20th, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on November 24, 1917 in McGrath, Minnesota the daughter of August & Martha Redunz Hengel.

In 1937, Alberta “Bertie” Hengel & Irvin “Bud Martinson were joined in holy marriage.

“Bertie” was formerly self employed as a Beautician.

Survived by daughter: Lynn Kirk of Minnetonka; a son: Ron (Kathy) Martinson of Buffalo where she was lovingly cared for in her final year; son-in-law: Jack Stetler; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband: Irvin “Bud” Martinson, daughter: Jeany Stetler and son-in-law: Lloyd Kirk.

Funeral services for Alberta Clara “Bertie” Martinson will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel Buffalo, Minnesota. Pastor Luke Schmidt will officiate.

Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Burnsville, Minnesota.

Casket Bearers will be Brian Kirk, Randy Kirk, Michael Martinson, Scott Rochat,
Jay Rochat and Landon Rochat-Boeser.
